Handlebars Cycle Co. is WNY's premier cycling center, specializing in all styles shapes and sizes of bikes! Owned and staffed by experienced and dedicated cyclists, Handlebars is dedicated to providing you with the best sales and service around.
Handlebars Cycle Co. started life in 1971 as "Mr. Handlebars" Current owner, Peter DePagter, purchased the business in 1979 and hasn't looked back since! Since it's inception Handlebars has set itself apart as THE destination for local and regional cyclists. All employees are intimately involved in the sport. Most actively compete in local, regional, and even international races.
It is that deep involvement and love for the sport of cycling that keeps us ahead of the competition and allows us to be your best source for all things cycling!
Services
Repair: We have a full service shop staffed by the area's best mechanics. We have experience repairing any and all bicycles of all brands and styles! If we can't fix it, it's not worth fixing!
Fitting: We believe that a proper bike fit is essential to your cycling experience. Whether you are riding for recreation, fitness, or competition our professional fitters can get you set up in the best position for your needs. We have decades of fitting experience and are Serotta and F.I.S.T. certified.
Park Tool School Repair Classes: Want to learn how to work on your own bike? We can help! We host the Park Tool School Repair classes every winter. Learn from the area's best mechanics exactly how to repair your bike! Check back for schedule information.
